U-AGREE’s Model in Focus at SESAR JU U-space and Urban Air Mobility webinar series

16 July 2025 — We are pleased to announce that the U-AGREE project will be featured in the SESAR JU U-space and Urban Air Mobility webinar series, organised by EUROCONTROL. The dedicated webinar, titled “Overview of the Initial U-AGREE Risk Model”, will take place online on 28 October 2025, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. Participation is free of charge.

This session will present the initial risk model developed within U-AGREE, based on state-of-the-art methodologies such as SORA, the Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) for Article 11 of EU Regulation 2019/947 and incorporating U-space services as described in EU Regulation 664/2021.

During the webinar, the U-AGREE team will introduce three representative operational scenarios and demonstrate how the SORA methodology can be applied to:

• Estimate the initial Air Risk Class (iARC);
• Assess how U-space services can mitigate air risk;
• Quantify ground risk resulting from potential mid-air collisions between UAS;
• Identify the conditions under which U-space services are needed to achieve target levels of safety.

The session will also outline the project’s overall validation approach, including initial results from simulation-based assessments.
