U-AGREE Showcased at Airspace World 2025: Advancing Risk Modelling for U-space

Lisbon, March 2025 — U-AGREE proudly took part in the final SESAR Walking Tour at Airspace World 2025, under the theme “Paving the Way for Integrated Drone Operations in Europe.” This high-profile event offered a dynamic platform for exploring how SESAR projects are tackling some of the most complex challenges in urban air mobility, U-space risk modelling, and conflict resolution.

During the tour, Juan Vicente Balbastre Tejedor, U-AGREE coordinator from Universitat Politècnica de València, presented the project’s vision and progress at the Collins Aerospace stand. His talk introduced attendees to the core mission of U-AGREE: enabling the safe, secure, and sustainable integration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into European airspace.

The project’s presentation sparked significant interest among both industry stakeholders and institutional actors, underlining the momentum and relevance of U-AGREE’s work within the wider SESAR ecosystem.

Participation in the SESAR Walking Tours allowed U-AGREE to strengthen ties with the broader ATM and U-space innovation community, and to contribute actively to the dialogue shaping the future of European airspace.
