From 26 to 28 May, Lisbon became the global capital of aviation innovation and the U-AGREE project was right at the center of the action! Airspace World 2026 provided the perfect backdrop for high-energy collaboration, inspiring ideas, and a fantastic reception from the international aviation community. A Packed Crowd for the SESAR Walking Tour
The absolute highlight of Day 2 was the SESAR Walking Tour: on May 27 the Collins Aerospace booth was buzzing with excitement as Sandra Amarillo, an expert researcher from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, took the stage to represent U-AGREE.
Sandra delivered a captivating presentation, sharing crucial insights into how the project is actively advancing the future of U-space and airspace integration. The booth was surrounded by a massive crowd of attendees who stopped by to follow the speech, spark lively debates, and ask insightful questions about the next generation of safe drone integration. Strategic Progress: Plenary Meeting & Advisory Board Workshop
May 27 was a doubly milestone day for the project. Alongside our public showcases, the consortium gathered behind the scenes for the U-AGREE Plenary Meeting and a dedicated Workshop with our Advisory Board members. These sessions were packed with productive discussions, feedback, and collaborative planning. The strategic insights gained from our Advisory Board will be instrumental in guiding the project’s next phases and ensuring our solutions perfectly align with real-world industry needs.
