U-AGREE Launches Risk Awareness Cards for UAS Operations

January 2026 — The U-AGREE project has launched a new set of Risk Awareness Cards designed to support a shared understanding of the key risks associated with UAS operations in U-space. The cards address mid-air collision risk, ground risk, environmental impact, and security and privacy, highlighting current gaps in risk assessment and how advanced modelling and U-space services can help bridge them.
Developed collaboratively by the U-AGREE consortium and reviewed by the Advisory Board, the cards aim to make complex risk concepts more accessible, support regulatory airspace risk assessments, and contribute to a simpler and more effective SORA process, ultimately fostering trust and social acceptance of unmanned aviation.
